The first BIT optimized work of Selection committee of MSTU of "STANKIN"

April 21, 2015. The First BIT company announced completion of automation of work of Selection committee of the Moscow state technology university "STANKIN". In the shortest possible time specialists of the First BIT implemented an automated system thanks to what the university could wage the Receiving campaign in new conditions.

Choosing a Solution

For automation of work of Selection committee of MSTU of "STANKIN" the functional unit "A receiving campaign" of the application solution "1C:University PROF" on the 1C:Enterprise 8 platform was taken as a basis. All installation process, completions of functionality and user training took less than two months – the wishes of the university based on the aspiration to wage a receiving campaign of 2014 already in a new system were like that. At the same time training began at a stage of start of a system in operation.

Confirmation of results of the USE and data transmission on the course of a receiving campaign are also performed thanks to a system: the built-in functionality allows to communicate directly with the FIS USE portal and acceptance (A federal information system of ensuring holding the unified state examination and acceptance). The staff of the university notes that after system implementation interaction speed with the portal considerably increased.

Result

Among other achievements of the project: reduction of queues of entrants thanks to increase in capacity of Selection committee, fall forward and qualities of decision making at the expense of the developed system of the analytical reporting on the course of a receiving campaign, reduction of labor costs of employees of Selection committee in processing of information on arriving. In a project deliverable the First BIT automated 20 jobs, representatives of the company integrator reported TAdviser.

"The automated system provides needs of users at all stages of a receiving campaign. Operators with the help especially for them the developed interface register statements of arriving. Then responsibles of Selection committee perform check and numbering of the adopted statements. At last, full control over information on arriving provides use of specialized processing of unloading of data in the external file, – Irina Kondratenko, the manager of projects of The First BIT company told.

"During a receiving campaign through Selection committee there pass several thousands of persons interested to study at our university, we process tens of thousands of documents. Earlier this process caused certain difficulties, employees used different information systems, and required to bring data together huge efforts. At the same time we are regularly obliged to provide the reporting on the campaign course in supervisory authorities. The project allowed us to control better activity of Selection committee and made process much more conveniently", – Stanislav Konov, the responsible secretary of the selection committee of MSTU of "STANKIN" said.
