Severstal implemented the system of intellectual support

On April 21, 2015 it became known of project completion of creation of a system of intellectual support of control functions in Severstal JSC. Contractors of problems of formalization and program implementation of requirements Severstal select the companies Witte Consulting and EY.

Project Tasks

For increase in efficiency of productive activity, the project team of Severstal with participation of Witte Consulting and EY develops a complex of the automated control checks of execution of business processes of the enterprise, variance analysis of parameters of subjects to control from preset values, formation of disturbing messages.

Project Results

With input of a system the discipline of owners of business processes, quality of work of the employees who are responsible for ensuring business of the company, and timeliness of processing of the analyzed information increased. The company lowered costs in the business processes included in project perimeter by means of automatic control of deviations from the standards admitted to the companies, regulations and rules. Increase in interest of divisions of business in efficiency of obtaining information on the deviations revealed as a result of work of control procedures, decrease in amount of manual information processing and reduction of time of taking measures to the revealed incidents is reached.

In the analysis of subjects to control processing of big arrays of information on the current activity of the enterprise, its comparison to historical data is executed. Sources of events and data for control are such systems as: weight economy, means of metrology, control system of quality/product acceptance, video surveillance and engineering control, accounting and planning, production systems, corporate information system, open sources of information.

Mikhail Tarko, the head of department of Business Process Management Suite and risks of Witte Consulting, noted: "For us heavy responsibility – to implement such large-scale project, but we successfully coped with an assigned task, having gained enormous experience in creation of the solutions allowing to increase significantly efficiency of activity of our clients".
