Jungheinrich WMS is a warehouse management system.

On April 21, 2015 the Jungheinrich company provided a warehouse management system (WMS) within the concept of Industry 4.0 on CeBIT.

• Client module
  • the Client module allows the owner of a warehouse to manage goods, acting as the enterprise for rendering logistics services to different customers (principals). Management of the corresponding warehouse stocks and the processes relating to them is performed together with the customer who is the owner of goods.

• Module of management of several warehouses
  • This module allows to manage several warehouses in the Jungheinrich WMS system. The warehouse is the largest managerial unit in the Jungheinrich WMS system and represents the production site. If the enterprise has several production sites, then for each of them in a system own warehouse is created. Using this module you will be able visually to manage several warehouses located in different territories and to execute necessary warehouse transactions either for all, or for separate warehouses.

• Management on serial numbers
  • This system module of Jungheinrich WMS allows to exercise control on serial numbers. The Jungheinrich WMS system has for this purpose feature set of support and monitoring.

• Batch tracking of a load agrees EU 178/2002
  • the Module "Batch Tracking of a Load" in the Jungheinrich WMS system provides tools for tracking and proper accounting of batch numbers of loads. In the database with indication of numbers of articles is defined what positions should be included in a batch. The format of batches can be set for the purpose of check of reliability.

This system module of Jungheinrich WMS conforms to requirements of the EU regulation 178/2002, become effective since January 01, 2005.

• Module "Packaging"
  • the Module helps operators during the packaging and a selection of goods for preparation for shipment. Dialogue the check sheets can be adjusted using profiles depending on individual requirements of the customer that only necessary data on packaging were considered. Settings of a profile concern, for example, the mode of packaging, time of packaging, automatic printout of accounting documents or sending confirmation to the hosting system of higher level. In the mode of packaging is defined what data will remain or be sent for drawing up the packing list. At the same time the number of packages, weight gross can be considered, the movement of stocks or to be executed direct conversion of the order of loading means used for a complete set to a package.

• Loading module
  • the Module is used for process control of loading using the Jungheinrich WMS system. A system allows to define the sequence of loading according to the set route and to determine by profiles what information should be considered in loading process. At the same time the complete protocol of loading with indication of is formed into what truck the goods will be loaded. For use of this module it is necessary to create previously in a system packages. The module "Packaging" is for this purpose used. If the goods are shipped only on pallets, installation of the module "Packaging" is not required. In this case the appropriate loading means can logically be transformed to packages without physical movement.

• The certified interface of SAP
  • the Jungheinrich WMS System contains the certified interface for the systems of SAP which can be used for information exchange through IDocs.
