In Parma Telecom company the first stage of the internal IT project on implementation of technology of a hybrid cloud was completed in the fall of 2013. The project received the name "Ladder in Clouds" and was implemented by Service of the director of information technology within the IT strategy of the company.

During project activity the staff of the company regularly has a need for operational obtaining additional computing powers for the different purposes: developments, researches, testing of systems, etc.

As a rule, the company places the main computing powers in own data processing center (DPC). In DPC applications for automation of activity of the enterprise and computing powers for external projects are placed. Due to business growth reserves of own DPC of the company are quite often close to exhaustion. For accumulation of power of own DPC it is necessary to pass a long investment cycle. "For maintenance of business continuity it was necessary to solve: increase the capital-intensive investments in equipment of own DPC further or find other, more effective business case", Kolonsky Evgeny, the Director of information technology tells Parma Telecom.

The effective business case is found using technologies of a hybrid cloud. For creation of a hybrid cloud the technology is selected Windows Azure, Microsoft - the solution allowing to combine placement of capacities on own and leased resources and to manage such hybrid cloud via the single console of management.

Lease of cloud resources is performed under a specific objective or the project which all costs are controlled by the project manager. This management model costs is adequate to managerial model and the system of motivation of the company according to which the project manager has powers and bears responsibility for achievement of result and profitability of the project.

Use of technology of a hybrid cloud gives to the company a number of powerful advantages, such as saving of time for ensuring the need for computing resources and increase in fault tolerance and reliability of resources.
