Rostelecom integrated in a single network of division of the Ministry of Internal Affairs in North Ossetia

April 15, 2015. The Rostelecom company reported^[1] about provision of services of Internet access and to providing communication channels for a corporate virtual network of data transmission for the Ministry of Internal Affairs RSO-Alania.

Rostelecom provided to security agency of the republic in lease 44 VPN channels: for head office of the ministry — with a speed up to 15 Mbps, for district divisions of department — up to 4 Mbps. It will promote improvement of interaction of divisions within the protected VPN network.

"The Ministry of Internal Affairs of the republic — our permanent and old partner — the director of the North Ossetian branch of "Rostelecom' Alexander Tishkov told — specialists of "Rostelecom' developed the special conditions which allowed to increase as much as possible data transfer rate on channels of a virtual private network for this project".

"Our department cooperates with "Rostelecom' for a row of years. Company services completely meet the requirements concerning quality, technical and functional characteristics and also reliability and information security" — the head of the Center of information technologies, communication and data protection of the Ministry of Internal Affairs on RSO-Alania Soltan Dzhimiyev commented on performance of contracts. "We expect further long-term partnership" — he emphasized.
