Parallels 2X RAS is the solution for access to applications and virtual desktops from any device and the operating system.
On April 30, 2015 the Parallels company announced release of the RDP client for Raspberry microcomputer.
Users of Raspberry Pi will be able to work far off with any applications, to use complete opportunities of the remote PC by means of the solution Parallels 2X Remote Application Server (RAS).
The solution Parallels 2X RAS gives the chance to use remote applications from any device, including Chromebook notebooks, the PC running Windows, Mac computers, workstations with Linux, mobile devices under Android, iOS and Windows Phone, from browsers with support of HTML5 and from Raspberry Pi microcomputers. With support of Parallels 2X RAS the companies of any spheres of the industry, from production to medical and educational can use it.
Functionality of Parallels 2X RAS
- Access to Windows applications and remote desktops for any user who is in any place regardless of with what operating system, the computer or the mobile device it works.
- Simplicity and ease of work and implementation: installation will take only several minutes.
- The fixed automatically configured functions: for example, readdressing of printing (when the user can print the necessary document from any device, at the same time the administrator does not need to install additional drivers on the server).
- Balancing of loading of the server: distribution of working loading by servers depending on available resources of the company that increases performance and reliability of work.
- Management of Windows client: allows IT administrators to control Windows device, to set passwords and to trace computers in network to provide them remote support.
- Functions of the reporting: allow the administrator to create reports on monitoring of activity of the RDP client and the server, for example, on use of licenses, operation of the server and so on.
- Balancing of loading of gateways: guarantees a possibility of continuous access of users to virtual resources, distributing connections between two and more gateways.
