Vienna University of Technology selected infrastructure of Fujitsu for SAP implementation of HANA

April 29, 2015. The Fujitsu company reported^[1] about software implementation of SAP Business Suite on the SAP HANA platform from TU Wien.

Project Progress

Considering positive previous results of use of technologies and Fujitsu services, ACC Wien decided to carry out the first software implementation by SAP Business Suite for the SAP HANA platform on infrastructure of Fujitsu. Implementation is implemented on the integrated Fujitsu Primeflex system for SAP HANA using the server systems of standard architecture Fujitsu Primergy. The solution includes the optimized preset infrastructure, services of deployment of Fujitsu for SAP HANA and also Fujitsu SolutionContract service package for SAP HANA providing high readiness. Thanks to this set the university can concentrate on research projects, but not on development, installation and solution maintenance, specified in the company.

Result

Infrastructure allowed to carry out the analysis of huge data arrays in real time without decrease in the security level. Thus, the company provided to ACC Wien simple in service and the cost-efficient platform in operation for training and carrying out researches by educational institutions of Austria.
