"Color" completed system implementation of management of polygraphic production

On May 7, 2015 it became known of an implementation project in Kolorit printing house of a management system for polygraphic production "to 1C: Polygraphy 8".

Project Tasks

For satisfaction of customer needs of the company were required:

  • fast processing of a large number of the entering orders,
  • operational planning and control of all production phases of a printed material under the order,
  • management of an assortment portfolio and price policy.

Earlier for operational and production accounting in printing house spreadsheets and paper documents were used. On processing, approval and a holiday of orders a lot of time went to production. It was difficult to plan materials requirement under each specific order and to control production.

The information system was required for the enterprise. Besides, it is necessary to automate formation of the regulated reporting and to provide operational data acquisition about development of employees by each order for payroll calculation according to price-work dresses.

For the solution of these tasks selected a system from the company "1C: Polygraphy 8". The partner in implementation - Armex company.

Project Results

  • Operational production accounting is organized. Control of consumption of materials is strengthened. Now materials are written off in production according to predefined regulations, and actual data are reflected in a system employees of production. It allows to carry out plan-fact expense analysis of materials on production. Also on regulations development of production workers is calculated. Data on labor costs and the material consumption helped to reveal the most difficult production sites and to make a number of management decisions as a result of which it was succeeded to reduce cost value of products on average by 2% already now.

  • Control of the movement of goods on warehouses is adjusted. The quality of purchase planning taking into account the current remaining balance and requirements of production increased. Regrading and probability of overflow of warehouses because of the duplicated supplier orders are excluded. Shipments are conducted more quickly and precisely. The turnover of a warehouse increased by 15%.

  • A new system allows the management to trace all history of work with customers: from drawing up planned calculation of orders and formation of planned dates of production before calculation of actual cost of the shipped products. Instruments of operational monitoring of production of the order (the order status changes in a system when passing all production chain) help the management to control production of orders in the online mode and to react timely to failure in shipments. As a result the company could guarantee accomplishment of orders of buyers just in time. As a result the loyalty of buyers increased, the quantity of positive reviews increased, the company could attract new clients. In the first three months of use of a new system the sales volume of the enterprise grew by 10%.

  • Payroll is completely automated. Now it is executed twice quicker, than earlier. The quantity of the errors connected with a human factor is reduced. Each employee can believe the charges and their compliance to personal development. Interest of employees in achievement more good results increased, labor productivity increased.

  • There was an opportunity to precisely distribute general production and general business costs, for example, costs on fixed asset depreciation, on compensation, etc., in the place of their emergence. This information helped the management to analyze profitability of production and to define highly profitable and unprofitable types of products. To exclude production price policy at a loss was corrected, advertizing expenses of unprofitable products are reduced, reserves for decrease in cost value are revealed. As a result it was succeeded to solve a problem of unprofitable production, production costs of products are reduced by 5%.

  • Automation of the main economic and production processes of the organization considerably facilitated work of the accountant. Errors in accounting are excluded, formation of the regulated reporting accelerated, its reliability increased.

Now we can announce the client degree of readiness of his order at any moment. Especially pleased that the amount of time spent by managers for calculation of order cost was reduced several times.
