The CROC Volga region unrolled the VKS system for Ruspolimet Group

May 12, 2015. The CROC Volga region system integrator announced project completion on creation of a system of a video conferencing for multi-profile corporation Ruspolimet.

Goals and Objectives

For operational contact with colleagues and partners, acceptances of management decisions are necessary for Ruspolimet's top management modern digital means of communication. Possibilities of the existing corporate system of communication did not answer requests of the company any more and the management made the decision on creation of a system of a video conferencing (VIDEOCONFERENCING) which will integrate Kulebaksky Steel works with the head office of holding which is in it, the Drobmash plant in Vyksa and additional office Ruspolimet in Nizhny Novgorod.

Before a project team of specialists of CROC Volga region there was a problem of creation of such VKS system which functionality will help to solve relevant business challenges of the customer:

• increase in effective management of the enterprises entering into holding which are in the different cities;
• acceleration of decision making on the key questions requiring presence of all leadership team;
• economy on business trips of employees;
• free communication of staff of the company when preserving all advantages of personal contacts;
• increase in efficiency of interaction of the removed working groups within joint projects;
• the organization of the operational meetings with partners.

Project Progress

Having booked audit of telecommunication infrastructure of Ruspolimet, specialists of CROC Volga region developed and offered to implementation the draft decision VIDEOCONFERENCING based on the equipment of Polycom which integration into the existing corporate system of communication of the company would allow to implement most fully functionality of VKS and would provide to employees ease of system management. Project works began with creation of IT infrastructure of the premises of a congress hall at Kulebaksky Steel works, deliveries of the necessary equipment and commissioning of a congress system. The innovation system of tracking of the cameras Polycom EagleEye Director allowing to point automatically the camera at the speaking speaker without participation of the operator became one of the VKS elements. On platforms of the customer in Nizhny Novgorod and Vyksa specialists of the IT company performed necessary preparation of the premises selected under congress halls, installed the equipment and the software for transfer of an audio-and video information in real time, having integrated remote nodes of VKS in a single system. Core of a system is the terminal for video conferences of Polycom RealPresence Group 700 which simple user interface does process of management of sessions of conferences easy and intuitive. The image in meeting rooms and a congress hall is output to 55', 60' and 75' inch LED panels, providing accurate and realistic transfer of the picture.

Result

Within project implementation specialists of CROC Volga region developed the project solution, supplied the necessary equipment and the software, performed their installation, setup and testing of working capacity, brought a system into operation. Ruspolimet received the modern and reliable system of a video conferencing meeting all requirements of the management of holding and solving all tasks set for a project team.

The multifunction complex of solutions on providing an operational video conferencing which integrated 3 territorial remote objects of the customer - office in Nizhny Novgorod, productions in Kulebakakh and Vyksa became a project deliverable, representatives of the company integrator reported TAdviser.
