"At the beginning of 2013 in connection with the permanent growth of volume of shipments of DKS company we understood for ourselves that our current processing procedure of motor transport becomes already very gromozdsky and consumes constantly many resources and requires additional costs. With respect thereto for itself and our management set to itself the task of automation of this process. And within the solution of this task we promonitorit the market of the available management systems for transport on loading. And just at that moment we paid attention that the SOLVO company has a module of management of the yard. We liked functionality of this module, also quite good price policy therefore we decided to stop the choice on the module of management of Solvo.Yard yard.

Additional plus was the fact that on our warehouse complex the warehouse management system from "SOLVO" was already installed therefore we expected easy integration of this module.

After installation of the module of management of the yard, we gained a number of positive effects. The first, this increase in speed of registration of the vehicle. So if earlier it was carried out manually, the driver came around at the check point, addressed the manager, processed a number of documents and walked on a warehouse on what 20-30 minutes left, then now this procedure takes literally 5 minutes. The driver either by phone, or using approach to the manager, designates the emergence, at this moment the manager registers arrival of the machine in a system. And at the same moment a system already begins to work, and issues the first task to the driver, depending on the sequence of a detour of platforms.

The second that we received, it a transparent picture of finding of the machine in our yard. Now any employee who is connected to a system understands what happens to this machine. He knows the number of these machines, the number of the planned machines. Significantly work of employees of a warehouse became simpler. Now they do not need to look for, think, keep any paper reports on existence of machines, they see it in a system at once. The dock and the machine right there appoint rises on dock.

With vision of a system we could reduce significantly queues before our check point. So if earlier in front of gate 5-10 machines could accumulate, then now these machines after registration instantly get to processing and receive a task. Machines right there leave or on the internal territory, or on other territory of loading. So now for us by and large is surprising if before the check point there are 2-3 machines. And if machines long do not stand idle, at most 20-30 minutes on the solution of any small nuances.

In addition in DKS company not the simplest system of loading. So really loading is made from two points, from two warehouses, and these warehouses are significantly deleted on kilometer from each other. Therefore a task of management of loadings in two warehouses pretty difficult. System implementation allowed us to solve this problem. Now, the manager, getting loading points, gives initial data for a system. And further, already system appoints loading points. A system selects on what place to be loaded first of all on what in the second. So now the person practically does not deal with this problem.

With the advent of a system we received pretty big functionality according to reports. We can monitor a large number of parameters, arrival, departure and loadings of vehicles. We know to within a second when vehicles stay to us, we can understand whether there are deviations or not, and timely to react to it.

Implementation as we also expected, took place pretty simply. The fact that most of employees already worked before in the Solvo.WMS system therefore all functionality, a set of buttons, icons was known to them affected, of course. Therefore employees needed to rebuild only a little the work and to get used to a new system.

System implementation passed in a week, and, I consider, quite successfully.

In general we consider that system implementation gave positive effect, accelerated processing of motor transport in our territories. And it accelerated on each of transport processing stages.
