Content

On May 22, 2015 the CTI company completed the project of creation of a data processing center on the platform of architecture FlexPod by request of the Irkutsk regional Multifunction center of providing the public and municipal services (GAU "MFC of IO").

Project Tasks

At the heart of infrastructure of data storage of GAU "MFC of IO" diverse disk arrays and servers of data processing operated. Their smooth and high-quality operation, the reliable system of data protection played a paramount role in resource management processes and electronic document management.

In process of growth of MFC, amount of data, generated by applications increased with high rates. The infrastructure of data processing of MFC operating for the beginning of the project did not meet requirements for scaling options, level of data protection and reliability.

The guide of the customer made the decision on creation of new DPC and a server hardware and software system for ensuring continuous work of MFC. Analyzing requirements of the multifunction center to new infrastructure, engineers of CTI company recommended to IT specialists of the multifunction center to create SAPK on the basis of reference architecture of FlexPod.

The competition for the project was won by CTI company.

Specialists of the contractor supplied the equipment, carried out commissioning.

Project Results

"Thanks to the implemented SAPK applications can function on the systems of the centralized complex which is possible for scaling and upgrading further without interruption of service, - Alexey Harlov, the associate director of GAU "MFC of IO" noted. - Plus to it, became possible quickly to redistribute resources between applications. It allows not to buy excess computing resources for different compensation of peak loads. MFC received infrastructure for IT applications and services which can be expanded and to adapt flexibly to the growing quality requirements of providing the public and municipal services to the population".

The installed system of data storage allows to store information of different applications, environments of virtualization and operating systems using those technologies of access which are most convenient for them, and at the same time to guarantee necessary performance".
