Almaz passed to the CAD systems from Aveva company

On May 18, 2015 the company it became known of implementation of CAD technology of Aveva Marine in an IT environment of TsMKB Almaz company TsMKB Almaz^[1].

In 2012 the company set a goal — to implement modern technologies of design.

The decision on transition to Aveva Marine to the companies was made in 2012.

Project Progress

The first stage of transition to the Aveva Marine system in 2012 opened opportunities and advantages in work — coordination between different databases and automatic release of drawings on saturation of courts, enhanced capabilities of administration. As the main production advantages company TsMKB Almaz notes integration and synchronization between design processes of a case part and saturation, ample opportunities on automation.

Project Results

For May 18, 2015 the company uses a range of technologies of a line of Aveva Marine:

• Outfitting — for design of saturation of the vessel,
• Cable Design — for design and trace of cables,
• Hull Detailed Design — for development of documentation on all types of a hull,
• Assembly Planning — for determination of the sequence of production assembly,
• Hull Finite Element Modeller — for determination of ship loading and vibration,
• Diagrams — for development of schemes of pipelines, heating, ventilation and air conditioning,
• Review — for three-dimensional visualization of complex models of courts.

The company also uses the Aveva Global application for synchronization of information and Aveva NET Workhub and Dashboard for technical maintenance of construction.
