Corus Consulting ERP from Microsoft for retail network in Ghana implemented

On May 27, 2015 Corus Consulting Group announced automation of network of grocery stores in Ghana to Yoo! Mart, based on Microsoft Dynamics AX 2012 which is in the future designed to support growth of network in the African market.

Choosing a Solution

With orientation to fast development of network, the Yoo command! Mart the decision on need of initial business process automation was made. Deep examination of a command in the Russian retail and knowledge of the market of ERP systems allowed management of the company to formulate selection terms of future platform accurately: maximum standard functionality and accounting of industry specifics of retail, power and performance, international vendor and multilingual interface. All this and also an optimal ratio price/quality, allowed to make a choice for benefit of Microsoft Dynamics AX 2012. For the choice of integrator the tender among the international IT consultants in which victory was won by Corus Consulting Group, thanks to deep examination in automation of the retail companies, including on a phase a startup was held.

Project Progress

The implementation project began in 2013, even before construction of the first shop. Principled stand of the management of Yoo! Mart was implementation of standard functionality of a system with the minimum quantity of completions: it became possible thanks to existence in Microsoft Dynamics AX 2012 of ready-made industry solution for retail, and automation of business required only thin setup of a system. So, specialists of Corus Consulting developed only several specialized solutions: printing of price labels with own design and a possibility of flexible configuration of master data, integration with scales and accounting of a returnable container at settlement with suppliers and clients which is important peculiar feature of local trade.

Result

As a result of implementation based on Microsoft Dynamics AX 2012 all processes of retail merchandising, financial accounting and cash services of buyers of Yoo were automated! Mart, representatives of the company integrator reported TAdviser.
