KMUS-2 Ltd (Best Soft: Metrology)

KMUS-2 Ltd is performed by capital construction, reconstruction and repair of objects of fuel and power complexes, trunk pipelines, chemical productions, other objects of industrial and civil function. in the territory of all Southern Federal District.

At the enterprise the accounting of the metrological equipment was carried out on means of the standard Microsoft Office tools that did not provide the required level of automation and convenience of use of users. Owing to these shortcomings, the decision on implementation of a centralized system of accounting of the metrological equipment was made. After carrying out the analysis of the software products presented at the market in September, 2014 the decision on implementation of the automated control system for metrological support of the enterprise based on "Best Soft was made: Metrology". This solution is caused by a possibility of automatic formation of plans of carrying out metrological works and operational condition monitoring of the metrological equipment taking into account installation directly in workplaces. The contractor on project implementation selected PKF Best Soft LLC company - developer of the software product, having high competences in automation of the companies of an electrical power complex and having extensive experience of implementation of similar projects.

During the project the following works were performed:

• purchase of the software according to requirements is carried out;
• completion of the software product within technical specifications of the customer is carried out:

1. formation of the Passport of metrological service of the enterprise;
2. monitoring of a microclimate of premises of metrological service;
3. formation accounting card of the metrological equipment;
4. implementation of a report form of costs for carrying out metrological works.

Implementation "Best Soft: Metrology" allowed to solve the following problems:

• automation of accounting of the metrological equipment;
• planning of carrying out metrological works;
• monitoring of results of carrying out checking and calibration of the metrological equipment;
• report generation for carrying out the plan component analysis of the carried-out metrological works;
• monitoring of indicators of the metrological characteristics which are dynamically changed in time;
• report generation about indicators of the external environment in the premises intended for carrying out
• monitoring of qualification of employees of metrological division.

During the project one workplace was automated, increase in number of users till June, 2015 is planned. A system is accepted in commercial operation in December, 2014. Since January, 2015 is going to begin support of the software product "Best Soft: Metrology".
