"The Gazprom gas distribution Nizhny Novgorod" completed the first stage of upgrade of corporate VPN

On May 26, 2015 the Rostelecom company announced end of the first stage of the project of upgrade of a virtual private network (VPN, Virtual Private Network) for "Gazprom Gas Distribution Nizhny Novgorod" company^[1].

For fall forward of data transmission in corporate network of "Gazprom Gas Distribution Nizhny Novgorod" company, improvement of communication quality and connection of new services in 2014 Rostelecom began to transfer offices of the subscriber from copper technology on optical.

The first stage of upgrade was completed in May, 2015. Its result - creation of the communication fiber lines (CFL) and the VPN organization on the customer's objects in Arzamas and Dzerzhinsk. Three offices of the client in Nizhny Novgorod on streets Kulibin, Aksakova and Upper Volga are transferred to optical fiber.

The single protected network integrates 54 divisions of the client in Nizhny Novgorod and the Nizhny Novgorod Region with the central point of VPN on Pushkin St. in the general information space.

On the basis of the created infrastructure digital telephone communication on 50 numbers is organized. If necessary the client can receive other services of the operator, somehow: audio-and video conferencing, web video conference.
