Smartec STC-HD3083

The range of HD-SDI of devices of the Smartec trademark for the systems of security video surveillance was filled up by the box-cameras STC-HD3083 "day/night", classical on design, which are supplied with the 2-megapixel sensor of Panasonic and provide effective video filming on objects with variable lighting. New HD-SDI of the surveillance camera can broadcast the image with the permission to Full HD (1920х1080 px.) and the frame rate of 30 fps and to HD 720p at 60 fps, have photosensitivity to 1/0.1 lx, hardware WDR and the system of noise reduction 2D/3D. Besides, along with the HD-SDI, STC-HD3083 standard EX-SDI and HD-TVI support standards that does them by more universal, in comparison with models of the previous generation.

Important difference of the new camera is support not only the HD-SDI standard, but also such transmission formats of video as EX-SDI and HD-TVI. Using HD-SDI, surveillance cameras are capable to broadcast on the coaxial cable the uncompressed megapixel image with the permission to Full HD to distances to 100 m, and in the EX-SDI STC-HD3083 format perform the minimum compression and can transfer video signal to distances to 400 m. Unlike them, the HD-TVI standard is the steadiest against noises and provides the greatest sending range of video thanks to what new surveillance cameras can be used in different applications.

The full-fledged work of HD-SDI of the camera in the day/night modes is implemented based on the switched-off IK-filter thanks to which STC-HD3083 will create the legible color image at osveshchennost to 1 lx, and black-and-white — up to 0.1 lx. At the same time, in the conditions of especially low illumination and without application of additional light sources it is possible to use the mode for work of HD-SDI of the surveillance camera slow el. a lock in which its photosensitivity increases up to 0.0017 lx. In addition to it, in new surveillance cameras function of the high dynamic range (WDR) and the system of noise reduction (2D and 3D of DNR) for quality improvement of video signal is implemented.

Broadcast of video HD-SDI of the camera can be performed with the maximum resolution of 1920х1080 px. (Full HD) at which update rate of the personnel makes 30 fps and with permission of HD 720p is available to video the frame rate of 60 fps. As Basic Element new HD-SDI of the surveillance camera use the 1/3-inch 2.1-megapixel CMOS sensor of Panasonic company with progressive scanning creating the hi-res picture therefore can be applied on objects with increased requirements to quality of video signal. As values of permission and frame rate for STC-HD3083 are not fixed, they are customized under requirements video surveillance systems and opportunities of the used video recorders.

Creation of full-function video systems using STC-HD3083 and/or other HD-SDI, EX-SDI, HD-TVI-compatible cameras, is possible based on the video recorders supporting the same standards. For example, the 4-channel Smartec STR-HD0416 video recorder allows to display on video monitor from each connected HD-SDI of the surveillance camera, to perform multichannel record of video with Full HD resolution at 25 fps, etc. It is important to note what in the majority couples digital video recorders with support of EX-SDI provide backward compatibility with HD-SDI. It should be taken into account at the organization of a video surveillance system, especially on average and large-scale objects.

The HD-SDI body of the camera has classical design and small dimensions that allows to set STC-HD3083 in a thermocasing, for example, of the Smartec brand and to operate in street conditions at temperatures up to -55 °C. It is important to note that HD-SDI of the surveillance camera provide the choice of option of their power supply from 12 V of a DC power source or 24 V of alternating current. The lens is not included in the delivery of the camera and is selected proceeding from a required viewing angle and multiplicity of increase. Besides, for setup of parameters of the image for effective video surveillance on the back panel of the STC-HD3083 body navigation buttons using which it is possible "to move" according to the OSD menu are provided.
