Liebherr completed implementation of WMS at an industrial site

On June 2, 2015 the First Line Software company announced project completion of automation of a warehouse zone of the plant of Liebherr company. As the automation system the Viad@tWMS technology is used.

Project Tasks

The management of Liebherr made the decision - to automate a warehouse zone of the Liebherr plant, to integrate separate racks of storage in the general information environment and to automate loading and shipment of parts.

As the supplier the German concern viastore systems GbmH is selected. Entered delivery: viadat WMS system, manual terminals and stations desktops.

Works on customization and setup of the equipment were executed by specialists of the Russian company First Line Software.

Project Progress

The project proceeded six months. During this time the WMS system of viadat was unrolled in the territory of the plant and integrated with the ERP system.

Project Results

The project helped the Liebherr-Werk plant to get rid of paper accounting, to arrange process of unloading and temporary storage. A system combines parts so that unloading in workshop of assembly came from one place. More than three thousand storage locations of the production site are automated.
