June 02, 2015. 1C Company: Announced "White wind" (Kryvyi Rih, Ukraine) to the franchisee automation of PJSC YuGOK. The system created on a basis of 1C: Manufacturing Enterprise Management helped to improve quality of production planning, to organize accurate accounting of materials in a warehouse, to optimize purchases, to strengthen control of costs of the enterprise. As a result the turnover of warehouse stocks increased by 1.3 times, costs for materials are reduced by 2.1%, production cost value is reduced by 1.4%.
Goals and Objectives
Earlier at the enterprise the local information system which automated work of finance division at products cost accounting was used. Process of the production cost accounting and allocation of costs of auxiliary divisions took a lot of time of a large number of specialists. It was difficult to plan expenses of the company and to control profitability of release. The data transmission problem from some structural divisions in others was particularly acute. For formation of reporting data spreadsheets were used. Change and recalculation of data had to be executed manually using the same spreadsheets that sometimes led to loss of information or emergence of errors in the consolidated statements.
Choosing a Solution
The management of PJSC YuGOK made the decision on creation of the ERP system which would allow to calculate precisely production cost value and to manage effectively costs of the enterprise. Besides, it was required to improve production planning, to arrange timely deliveries of materials, to increase system effectiveness of internal control.
As a basis for creation of such system the solution "1C: Manufacturing Enterprise Management 8 for Ukraine" was selected.
The White Wind company having successful experience of automation of large manufacturing enterprises became the partner in implementation.
Project Results:
Operational production accounting is organized. Work of production divisions is planned more rationally. Control of material issue in production is strengthened. The management quickly obtains information on use of resources, production, cost value of products, value and structure of production costs, including labor costs of personnel of production divisions. There was an opportunity to quickly estimate deviations from the planned value of cost value and to take timely measures to its decrease. As a result cost value of release is reduced by 1.4%.
Operational accounting of stock remainders is adjusted, material requirement planning and component parts is organized. Timely material issue in production is provided, the probability of emergence of equipment downtimes on an absence reason of this or that material is minimized.
Exact information on stock remainders helps to plan more rationally supplier orders and not to exceed necessary purchasing amounts. Financial services received online access to up-to-date data about movements of materials that allows to react quickly to the changing market conditions, to make timely decisions on change of purchasing amounts of materials and regulation of their stock remainders. As a result the company could reduce quantity of the stocks which are once stored in a warehouse, at the same time the turnover of a warehouse increased by 1.3 times, and costs for materials are reduced by 2.1%, representatives of the company integrator reported TAdviser.
