The Tactical Missile Armament corporation passed to Logic of EDMS on JBoss Open Source

June 4, 2015. The Business Logic (IT Group) company announced the implementing solution "Logic of EDMS" on the platform of JBoss Open Source in the JSC Tactical Missiles Weapons Corporation (KTRV). The project is executed in 4 months, in a new electronic document management system more than 250 employees of the KTRV head enterprise work.

Choosing a Solution

Earlier for work with documents in Corporation the solution Landocs constructed on the Microsoft platform was used. However the functionality of this system was limited only to registration of incoming correspondence and did not cover all operation cycle of documents in electronic form. Therefore the management of KTRV made the decision on replacement of EDMS, having made a choice for benefit of the solution "Logic of EDMS" constructed on the open source (OS) JBoss. The solution implemented in KTRV supports all necessary functions for work with electronic documents, including support of a complete route of processing of the managerial document, a possibility of creation of any schemes of approval, consideration of documents in electronic form, write-off of documents in archive according to the nomenclature of affairs approved in KTRV. The management of KTRV also had an opportunity to control execution of instructions according to documents in real time and using preparation of interim and final statements. The solution "Logic of EDMS" on the JBoss platform is used also in other organizations of Corporation: JSC NPO Mashinostroyenia Military Industrial Complex ekspluatiruyet ego s 2012 goda, a parallelno s vnedreniyem v KTRV sistema byla razvernuta takzhe v JSC GOSMKB „ Vympel im. Result

As a result of implementation of new EDMS in KTRV automated management of documents and processes of their processing, including accounting and control on all lifecycle of the electronic document and after its write-off in archive, representatives of the company integrator reported TAdviser.

Development Plans

In the nearest future creation of a single corporate system of electronic document management on the scale of all enterprises entering into KTRV, and expansion of functionality of work with documents is planned: the functionality of interdepartmental interaction using the electronic signature and the system of stream input of paper documents will be added.

"Use of Logic of EDMS constructed on Open Source will allow us not only to cut down expenses on replication of a system within all corporation, but also to become platform-independent and the contractor due to openness of system codes" — the chief of the KTRV IT Center Nikolay Vasilyev comments on project results.
