Humming-bird - the hardware-software instrumental platform for creation of the management information systems.

On June 5, 2015 the Fiord company announced Humming-bird - the domestic hardware-software instrumental platform.

2016: Humming-bird-K1 PLC

On March 21, 2016 the FIORD company announced an output to the market of a PLC of Humming-bird-K1 with the built-in executive system of ISaGRAF 6 Fiord Target under Linux ISaGRAF-controller OS[1].

Functionality of the software

  • programming in languages of the IEC 61131-3 and IEC 61499 standards using technology of programming ISaGRAF

The PLC of Humming-bird-K1 can work in the expanded temperature range (from -40 °C to +85 °C).

"Humming-bird-K1" - the finished solution on the platform of the integrated Freescale iMX28 processor with ARM9 family core. The device can be used in data collection systems as the transformer of interfaces and the managing controller.

Input/output ports of general purpose of this computer can be applied to control of external devices. Installation of the body of the device on a DIN rail is possible.

Utilization properties: power supply 5B, operating range of temperatures-40. + 85C, the body on a DIN rail.

Depending on a task it is possible to use add-on modules of input-output with fastening on a DIN rail with connection on RS485 or Ethernet from the nomenclature of ARIES, ICP DAS companies (i7xxx), Beckhoff, etc.
