HID vanGO

vanGO is the solution for creation of the personalized, safe identifiers in providing the systems of visual security in the organizations.

On June 9, 2015 the HID Global company announced release of vanGO — solutions of visual security using which the universities, the enterprises and public institutions can create and issue the personalized, safe identifiers with more high level of protection.

Using vanGO technology, on plastic cards hot stamping applies a special square metal pad and, by means of the special laser writing module, the high-performance FARGO HDP8500 printer from HID Global, the image of the person of the card holder is applied to it. This image creates visual communication between the card and its holder, the card cannot almost be forged.

According to creators of technology, with reference to external sources, in more than 90% of cases check of the personality is still executed by a simple look, but not the electronic reader. Increasing the level of security of each map with the help of the solution vanGO helps to define visually authenticity of the card holder without electronic readers or access to databases.

Developers see the task in development of the creative and practical solutions solving security of the organizations of campuses of colleges to state bodies and the global companies. Development in the field of visual security gives the chance to issue more advanced and safe cards, than ever before, and at the same time the solution is simple in installation and cost-efficient.

When developing vanGO HID Global used the solution of visual authentication LaserCard Optical Security Media (OSM). The portfolio of functions of visual security of One-2-One of the solution vanGO includes two options:

• the standard option vanGO is providing the available solution, ready for operation, in one configuration.
• vanGO Custom proposes the set-up solution allowing the customer to change a form and arrangement of a metal pad on the card or to add other visual safety features - the holograms surrounding a pad.

vanGO is created on the basis of the complete and simple personified solution for desktop PCs in use as a part of which:

• the combined PVC/PET of the card with VanGO pad.

• The laser writing module HID Global FARGO HDP8500LW is available with the industrial printer encoder now to personalisation of cards of high definition of FARGO HDP8500 which is already used in many applications with the high level of security.

• The software for personalisation of the Asure ID 7.6 cards from HID Global including the user templates for placement of a pad of vanGO on cards.
