KSB Sonolyzer

Sonolyzer is software for efficiency analysis of operation of non-regulated pumps.

On June 11, 2015 it became known of the emergence which is coming on June 15, 2015 on App Store and GooglePlay (Android) developments of concern KSB - free mobile application of Sonolyzer. The Sonolyzer application can be used for job analysis not only the pumps KSB, but also pumps of other producers.

The application helps to define a load scale of the operated non-regulated centrifugal pump with the asynchronous engine. For this purpose it is necessary to enter initial data:

• rated power of the engine,
• rated frequency of rotation,
• pressure and giving of the pump.

This information is placed on the plate attached to each pump at the plant.

At the beginning of the procedure of measurement the microphone which is built in the smartphone or the tablet within 20 seconds writes the noise published by the fan of cooling of the electric motor.

This range of noise is filtered by the application to set exact rotating speed of the pumping unit and to define a torsional moment. Correlating data retrieveds about performance to the database of hydraulic systems developed by the producer, the application draws a conclusion - whether the pump in a zone of a partial or overall load works and will announce the user an opportunity to make operation of the pump of more effective in the way optimization of a hydraulic system or the engine, or about absence like that.

All data of the analysis without personification are stored on the protected cloud server. They serve the statistical purposes and are used only for further improvement of an analysis algorithm.
