On June 15, 2015 the RSA company provided RSA Via product line in Russia. Products are available to the preorder. The beginning of sales is planned for 2016.

As a part of a portfolio of RSA Via of a system RSA SecurID and RSA Adaptive Authentication. In addition, three specialized products:

• RSA Via Access  — helps to increase efficiency of business by implementation of enhanced capabilities of identification. The reliable, modern contextual authentication from the mobile device integrated with function of a uniform input provides reliable confirmation of identification. Users quickly and effectively get access to all the resources from one point that minimizes a bypass of instructions of IT service and use of "shadow" IT resources. 

• RSA Via Governance —  simplifies a task of management of access rights within the enterprise. This solution helps the companies to provide compliance to domestic policy due to automation of monitoring, the reporting, certification and correction of purpose of access rights to users. The solution RSA Via Governance created on the RSA Identity Management and Governance (IMG) platform purchased at Aveksa provides visualization of access rights within all enterprise, automates check of purpose of access rights and reveals untied accounts of users and unreasonably appointed access rights.

• RSA Via Lifecycle  — simplifies and automates a request, approval and providing access rights. This solution combines a user-friendly interface of a request and approval of purpose of access rights with the innovation approach to the automated creation of identification data for all direct systems. The solution RSA Via Governance created on the RSA Identity Management and Governance (IMG) platform purchased at Aveksa provides service which allows to request and approve easily access rights and to quickly change them without accomplishment of manual transactions in key applications locally or in SaaS environment.

Release of RSA Via Lifecycle and Governance

On July 30, 2015 the RSA company announced release of the version of the solution RSA Via Lifecycle and Governance and final formation of family of smart solutions for management of identification — RSA Via.

Solution RSA Via Lifecycle and Governance (former names: Identity Management and Governance and Aveksa) helps the organizations effectively and to reliably grant to users necessary access rights to required resources (from endpoints and network to a cloud).

By means of functionality of the automated detection with forced application the politician and access processes, the solution RSA Via Lifecycle and Governance increases security due to expanded visualization of the authorized and unauthorized changes in network. It gives to the enterprises the chance to quickly reveal malicious escalation of the rights, to cancel it, destroying a key link of cyber attack.

RSA Via Lifecycle and Governance offers the functions promoting detection of threats to the increased complexity automatically notifying users on unauthorized changes of access rights (including on the unauthorized escalation of the rights which is often used by the malefactors who stole credentials of users).

• Integration with RSA Archer GRC (Governance, Risk and Compliance) improves visualization for processors of incidents due to providing a context of incidents. In its structure processes of management of access and lifecycle in corporate management model risks
• The solution accelerates business processes of training of new users and optimizes problems of configuring of the user interface

RSA updated RSA Via - the solution for management of credentials and their authorizations

The RSA company, division of information security of EMC, announced in March, 2016 emergence of the innovation opportunities for authentication and management of credentials in the solution RSA Via. These new features are designed to help the organizations to maintain balance between security and convenience of users at authentication of credentials and also it is better to manage processes of exclusive access.

According to developers, the new opportunities of authentication which are built in RSA Via Access will help to provide the necessary levels of authorization of the user at different requests. The additional RSA Via Lifecycle and Governance functions were developed to increase transparency of providing access to the exclusive systems and to be protected from the target attacks. This combination offers customers more wide choice of means of authorization of credentials and also gives an opportunity to optimize risk management, claim in EMC.

For ensuring protection against advanced threats to the organizations it is necessary to build better compliance between risks of access to a system and levels of authorization of credentials. Now RSA Via Access can automatically correlate authentication methods to risk level for each request for access, allowing administrators to set requirements to authorization of credentials on the basis of security policies. For example, access to the most important company assets can demand existence of the RSA SecurID keys or methods of biometric authentication whereas work with less critical assets can require the smaller level of authorization, explained in the company.

The organizations need also to observe balance between requirements to security and convenience of the user. According to developers, RSA Via Access allows to use a bigger set of methods of authentication, is commensurable importance of each application. Thanks to a variety of methods of authentication, users have an opportunity of confirmation of the credentials by that method which is most convenient for them, instead of attempt to choose "one size for all".

In addition to check of the user on a fingerprint of TouchID and space movements supports by the device tap or shake, RSA Via Access new biometric opportunities, thanks to integration of Eyeprint IDTM, technology from EyeVerify now. This new technology uses the unique drawing of vessels of an eye and also other microsigns to authorize the user, having confirmed compliance of a biometric template on the entrusted device. The RSA Via Access server was also certified by FIDO and now supports devices of the FIDO U2F standard which provide to the company and users some more additional methods of authentication and do this process more convenient.
