Borlas Meter Patrol Application (BMPA)

Borlas Meter Patrol Application (BMPA) is a product of automation of work of controllers-inspectors of power supply companies.

On June 16, 2015 the Borlas consulting group announced development of the system of Borlas Meter Patrol Application (BMPA).

As a part of BMPA the Android-application for display of tasks for a bypass and data collection of metering devices, a server part for job control and integration with systems of accounting of subscribers and billing. In BMPA additional functions of geotracking and automatic recognition of the metering devices given from photos are also implemented.

Functionality

• Borlas Meter Patrol Application simplifies work of controllers-inspectors, improves control of their work, increases quality of the collected data on energy consumption.

• Integration with systems of accounting of subscribers and billing allows to receive automatically lists of metering devices, information on the addresses of their arrangement and an order of a bypass of these addresses.

• Information is displayed in mobile application using which it is possible to fix and store images of metering devices, to automatically distinguish or enter manually their indications and also to control the actual route of a bypass by means of geotracking.

• Data from metering devices and information on the actual route are automatically transferred to a billing system.

The software of Borlas Meter Patrol Application passed state registration in Federal Service for Intellectual Property.

"In the market there are solutions with similar appointment, but they are only able to fix, this entered manually. On the other hand, there are powerful industrial solutions which have excess functionality and are difficult in setup. We tried to suggest "golden mean" – to implement the necessary functionality and useful additions simplifying work of mobile employees and their control.
