Liebherr automated logistics with Lead WMS

6/16/2015. The LogistiX company announced automation of work of a production and warehouse complex of Liebherr-Rusland, Russian division of Liebherr concern.

The project is implemented in the Moscow region using the adaptable warehouse management system Lead WMS of industrial level and the industry functional module of management of assembly production, representatives of the company integrator reported TAdviser.

"The production and warehouse complex works with a large number of nomenclature positions with different storage conditions and cargo handlings. Besides, the project is unique the fact that we made consecutive automation of two warehouse complexes with essentially different technologies of processing of loads where shirokoprokhodny and narrow-passage technologies, floor and stacking storage, shelf racks and many other things are used", - Dmitry Blinov, the technical director of LogistiX reported.

"Secondly, in addition to warehouse processes, during the project automation of process of production assembly was also executed. Such approach allowed to create a common information space for management of transactions and their monitoring in the directions of warehouse logistics and production", - Dmitry Blinov concluded.

"Work with the Russian supplier is exclusive practice for concern, but in this case we relied on positive image of the supplier having practice of automation of manufacturing enterprises, and existence of required functionality. Projects are executed in the set time, taking into account required high standards", - the head of a project team of Liebherr-Rusland noted.
