2015: The OneTouch AT Network Assistant model for tests of DPC networks is produced
On June 18, 2015 the Fluke Networks company, the decision maker for testing and monitoring of performance of networks, presented the solution of OneTouch AT Network Assistant for check of work of infrastructure of DPC as a part of the product line[1].
The OneTouch AT Network Assistant device with the interface for connection of connections of 10 Gbps is intended for testing of infrastructure of DPC at installation and connection of active network equipment, check of correctness of its settings, stress testing and carrying out acceptance tests. Unlike devices for certification of cable systems which problems include identification of physical problems with laying of equipment cables the solutions OneTouch AT are intended for ensuring working capacity and performance of networks, identification and elimination of problems at operation of networks when decline in production happens because of faults in work of network infrastructure.
Use of OneTouch AT Network Assistant 10G is focused on testing in DPC and reference segments of infrastructure of LAN where there are high-speed connections. The device provides ports for testing of copper and optical connections at speeds of 10G and the complete OneTouch AT tools for search and fault recovery. In the updated OneTouch AT model the possibility of the simplified check of performance is provided to DPC. Engineers can create the AutoTest profiles for each DPC or its sector. The beginning engineer in the course of upgrade of infrastructure of DPC can use this profile to check existence of connection and availability of network services.
The device allows performance measurement on the set route (path performance) in remote points using the Fluke Networks OptiView XG tablet. OneTouch AT 10G in this case serves as the device supplementing OptiView XG when conducting testing of performance at speeds up to 10 Gbps.
The functionality initiates performance test on OptiView XG from OneTouch AT 10G located on distant end. The specialist can execute far off the test on the OptiView XG device located at the main office, without involving the second engineer that increases efficiency of resource planning at operation and testing. The OneTouch AT 10G device will help with transfer of tasks of search and fault recovery to less qualified specialists in a command, being a part of tools that raises the overall level of qualification of a support service.
