Samaraneftegaz unrolled the situational center

On June 24, 2015 the Asteros group announced deployment of the situational center for the order of JSC Samaraneftegaz. The project is implemented by the Novosibirsk branch of integrator.

Project Tasks

For increase in management efficiency and efficiency of decision making the management of customer company needed the instrument of centralization of data and ensuring communications. For the solution of a task the company held a competition on implementation of the situational center. According to the results of the tender which is carried out by the general contractor (RN-Inform LLC), the Asteros group became the technology partner of the customer.

Project Progress

The project team of the Novosibirsk branch "Asteros" created architecture of the situational center and provided it with all necessary equipment for work on operational management, control and monitoring of objects and situations.

In the situational center JSC Samaraneftegaz the videowall consisting of eight 70-inch projective video cubes of Barco and the graphic Barco XDS-400 controller is set and configured. For 20 operators the jobs equipped with the necessary systems of communications are completely prepared for operation: audio-video sources, display systems and scenario management, sound amplification, autonomous audio conference, monitoring, documentation and other.

All complex of the technology systems of the center is integrated with corporate subsystems among which a LAN, SCS, the VIDEOCONFERENCING and also with telecommunication infrastructure of the command and control vehicle of the customer which is intended for mobile transportation of members of command task force in case of a non-staff situation.

Project Results

Group of Asteros and RN-Inform LLC unrolled the IT infrastructure which increased security of industrial facilities of strategic appointment of Samaraneftegaz company. The created complex passed all tests and successfully functions.

"It was useful experience for all our Novosibirsk command, – Stanislav Yuminov, the chief representative of Asteros in the SFD told. – From the technology point of view, the main complexity of creation of the situational centers was that we created a large number of the different systems which need to be integrated with the specialized systems of the customer. Project deadlines and territorial remoteness became one more call personally for us: between Novosibirsk and Samara – 2100 km "on a straight line" with a difference on time at three o'clock. Nevertheless, we successfully optimized the resources and are ready to apply our experience in new projects".
