United Airlines upgraded IT infrastructure technologies of Microsoft

On June 25, 2015 the Microsoft company announced upgrade of IT infrastructure of United Airlines.

Project Results

Windows Server 2012 R2 Hyper-V Replica executes asynchronous replication of virtual machines in reserve cloud DPC (from the main Hyper-V node on the second auxiliary Hyper-V node) that provides flexibility of a system which is so important for United Airlines, with the varied copying frequency – from 30 seconds to 15 minutes – and reliable support of expanded copying of data on the third website.

The cloud service of disaster recovery (DR) Microsoft Azure Site Recovery provided high availability of the IT system and the continuity of business processes of United Airlines. This tool gives the chance of coordination of data recovery according to the scenarios developed earlier therefore IT specialists can start again applications in short terms and in an order necessary to them.
