"International Airport Ufa": the cross-border check point is upgraded

On July 7, 2015 the Technoserv company announced completion of works on technical upgrade of the check point of the international airport of Ufa of the Republic of Bashkortostan. Customer of works "Directorate on Construction and Operation of Objects of Rosgranitsa" (State-owned federal state Institution Rosgranstroy) State-owned federal state institution.

Expectations from the project

As a result of reconstruction of the terminal the predicted volume of transportations by the international flights of the airport will exceed 2 million passengers a year, capacity will increase from 200 up to 800 people per hour, the level of comfort of service of passengers will rise to the IATA standard "C". The international terminal will become the multifunction hi-tech center with the developed infrastructure.

Project Progress

For ensuring effective fulfillment of functions according to the admission of persons, vehicles, goods and loads through frontier of the Russian Federation at the check point, state control bodies are equipped complexes of the information technical means (ITM). Under the terms of the contract the new air check point at the airport is equipped with complexes of ITS of border, customs, sanitary and quarantine, phytosanitary and veterinary control.

Project Results

Works are performed within the project "Constructions (reconstruction) of the international terminal and infrastructure at the Ufa airport according to the Federal target program for arrangement of check points in 2012-2020.

"The most important feature of the public contract is that the check point Ufa is one of objects which was created within preparation of the capital of the Republic of Bashkortostan for holding meetings of Council of heads of member states of the Shanghai Cooperation Organization and also heads of state and government of BRICS in July, 2015, - Sergey Korneev, the president of Technoserv Group noted. - It demanded from Technoserv as contractor of the government contract, accurate organization of forces and means for timely accomplishment of all complex of works on modernization of the air check point.
