"Land" launched a mobile application for "field" employees

Customers: Land (Land Service)

St. Petersburg; Consulting, including management and personnel

Contractors: First Bit

Project date: 2015/03  - 2015/09

On July 14, 2015, First BIT announced the creation of a mobile application for service engineers of the latter together with LAND.

Project Summary

Field service employees were able to quickly receive information about customer requests for scheduled and emergency maintenance of refrigeration equipment, remotely check the availability of the necessary materials for repairing equipment in their special vehicles, in warehouses to ensure quick repairs, leave suppliers requests for ordering materials for subsequent repairs.

By reducing the deadline for submitting reports on completed works (the order status and results are fixed instantly by sending photo-reports and photo-acts through the application), they are closed several times faster by accounting.

As a result of the project, the company increased the turnover of spare parts in warehouses, accelerated the inventory.

"A big
company is like a big organism. With growth, it becomes inert, and the ability to control falls. We solved this problem with the introduction of a mobile application. First of all, our customers felt the benefits of the implementation - now the LAND service service also quickly responds to any request from each of them, as well as a small company with only one client. At the same time, the quality of our service meets the high standards formed as a result of many years of experience in the work of service centers throughout the country. In just a month of using a mobile solution, the company itself was able to achieve tangible results. The Zyfras speak for themselves: more than 10,000 applications and certificates of work have already been processed through the application, the time of documentary closure instead of two weeks now takes only one day, "said Dmitry Balkov, IT director of the LAND management company.
Maxim Opilkin, head of the St. Petersburg office of mobile solutions of the company First BIT, stressed: "This project was difficult in terms of the tasks being solved and interesting for the results achieved. Its success is determined by tight integration with the current accounting system of the customer "1C:Enterprise 8." The created application works on two platforms - Android and iOS. This significantly expands the capabilities of the application, making it available to the owner of any mobile tool. The application interface is simple and understandable for an employee with any degree of mobile technology proficiency. "
