"The Pyatigorsk electric networks" operate the Octopus 7

On July 15, 2015 it became known of use in operational and dispatching service JSC Pyatigorskiye elektricheskiye seti of a recording system of telephone negotiations the Octopus 7.

According to industry regulating documents, operational negotiations at all levels of supervisory control should register in the special sound recorders providing storage of records.

Gennady Sopin, the engineer of telemechanics and communication of a system of JSC Pyatigorskiye elektricheskiye seti, told: "An octopus 7 – an optimal solution in the Russian market for record of negotiations of ODS. The octopus 7 conducts continuous automatic registration of all negotiations, and network capabilities of a system and function of operational monitoring allow to control remotely onto remote dispatcher stations. Storage of the written information on external carriers allows to create archive for long-term and safe custody of data. In need of reconstruction of a picture of incident, determination of a measure of responsibility of the parties and efficiency evaluation of work of services, recovery of chronology of events can be required. The detailed analysis and analysis of an unusual situation promote identification and elimination of the reasons of its emergence. For these purposes we also use a recording system of dispatching negotiations the Octopus 7".
