Smartec ST-PS105C and ST-PS105DM power supplies

In family of the equipment Smartec in the summer of 2015 there were ST-PS105C and ST-PS105DM power supplies transforming tension of the power supply network of 190 - 260 V / 50 Hz to 12 V of a direct current for a power supply of devices of video surveillance systems, access control, the security/fire warning, etc. Along with conversion of current, each uninterruptible power supply unit of 12 V has the rechargeable battery which capacity depending on model is 10 and 17 Ach. It should be noted that the power source is supplied with battery means of protecting from deep discharge, a recharge and the wrong connection of poles and also uses a stabilization system of tension and automatic removal of loading at short circuit.

The electronic systems of power sources include protection against voltage surges, short circuit and an overload and provide operability of manual operating system of security even in critical situations. At the expense of a stabilization system the uninterruptible power supply unit of 12 V compensates jumps of voltage output and gives the stabilized current on the equipment connected to it, and at short circuit it is automatically disconnected. Besides, sources of ST-PS105C/ST-PS105DM have protection against an overload and do not allow exceeding of power of a coupled load over the maximum power output.

New power sources perform regular power supply of devices of the low-current systems, including the equipment for video surveillance, access control, the security fire warning, etc. They will transform the energy arriving from the power supply network of 190-260 V / 50 Hz to direct electric current with tension of 13-13.5 V, and provide at the exit current 5 A. For convenience of operation each uninterruptible power supply unit of 12 V is supplied with light indication of a status of lines of 220 V / 12 V and the rechargeable battery. Besides, the ST-PS105DM model has the corresponding relay exits for transfer of these data to the operator of a security system of an object.

Uninterrupted power of ST-PS105C and ST-PS105DM is provided even in lack of tension in the central power supply network, thanks to rechargeable batteries which tanks at models are different. So, at voltage drop the uninterruptible power supply unit of 12 V of ST-PS105C automatically switches load of the battery expected 10 Ach to networks, and the ST-PS105DM model transfers a system to accumulator supply on 17 Ach. During the work in a standalone mode both power sources provide voltage output in the range of 10.5 - 12 V, and provide a number of the means of protection for the rechargeable battery including which are not allowing its deep discharge.

12-volt sources of ST-PS105 series are intended for uninterrupted power of devices of a control system of access, video surveillance and/or the security/fire warning at small office or the apartment house. In particular, using uninterruptible power supply unit of 12 V of ST-PS105C or ST-PS105DM it is possible to ensure functioning of the ACS controller, electromagnetic lock and several emergency devices, or several cameras of a video surveillance system. Besides, these power supplies of 12 V can be used on large objects for power supply of separate subsystems.
