Nebvex

Nebvex is a platform for creation of corporate cloud infrastructure. The solution uses open technologies for virtualization systems management.

The main objective which the set of the existing technologies solves Nebvex - to integrate among themselves and to offer the most boxed cloud which is initially focused on corporate application.

Nebvex is unrolled over the existing customer's infrastructure in which VMware, RHEV or OpenStack can be used. According to the statement of developers, Nebvex does not require any changes in the used virtual environment.

Technically Nebvex consists of two components - Nebvex Engine and Nebvex Portal. For control of the virtualization platforms rented by capacities of external DPCs, storage systems and Nebvex networks it is necessary on open orkestrator of the cloud systems. Depending on requirements to corporate support ManageIQ or CloudForms can be used.

Nebvex Engine implements the following functionality:

• Representation to the end user of a pool of resources (virtual DPC) which includes a certain number of CPU, RAM, the set place volume on storage system and access to the permitted network segments;
• Role model "much-to-much". Users can have access to several pools of resources with different powers in them, the administrator of a pool can invite new users in a pool and issue them powers for work with resources without the appeal to IT service;
• Logical grouping of pools of resources, basic information systems, end-to-end corporate systems;
• Task of necessary processes and regulations. Any actions in a cloud can be available to the user in the self-service mode, and can require confirmation by the employee of IT service or approval along more difficult route.

In turn, Nebvex Portal is the separate application working in the environment of JBoss. Nebvex Portal provides the interface of a self-service portal for work of users, dashborda with the reporting for heads and means for deployment of templates of end-to-end systems for developers. Also Nebvex Portal acts as the gateway at connection of users to a desktop of the virtual machines. The console based on HTML5 allows to work from any device on which there is a modern browser, installation of applications and plug-ins is not required.
