The automated collection of data on movement (location) of products in production.

Functions of a system

• automatic data acquisition about products between production zones;
• registration of a route of each product, control of correctness of a route;
• indication of information on a product, the indication of a zone for movement of a product;
• interrelation with other production systems (quality control, logistics, operational planning and so forth);
• management of a route depending on information from other systems;
• contact with the intelligent equipment;
• preparation of reports.

How it works

• A system is held for use at the enterprises performing release of complex products and also productions with a large number of transactions.
• The production line breaks into zones, in each of which a certain set of production operations is executed. Each product has a unique identifier (serial number) which is read out by the special device at receipt of a product in the next zone. Possible routes of products are predetermined by settings of a system.

Tasks

• providing all interested services of the enterprise and also their computer systems with exact and up-to-date information about location of products (placement on workshops and sections);
• automatic identification of "bottlenecks" where products collect, unfairly are delayed or appear repeatedly;
• reduction of the labor costs and losses caused by need of search and also wrong movements of products.
