AMO of the Kandalaksha district of Murmansk region selected the Kerio Control firewall

The administration of the municipal entity of the Kandalaksha district of Murmansk region selected the certified version of the Kerio Control firewall for integrated management of security of perimeter of network and flexible configuration of Internet access for 200 users. The software solution was delivered by Soft management company, the preferable partner of Kerio Technologies in Russia.

Due to the increase in level of requirements to information security systems according to Federal Law 152 "About personal data", in administration the need for upgrade of means for protection of infrastructure appeared. The complex UTM solution (Unified Threat Management) which could integrate in itself several software tools was required, would not require completions or compound integration, was entered in the put IT budget. In addition to functional and economic components, existence of the FSTEC certificate was the compulsory provision when choosing a product.

After market research of protective equipment, a choice was made for benefit of Kerio Control. The product Kerio is complex Unified Threat Management - the solution (UTM). Kerio Control integrates with success in itself a firewall, an antivirus, the web filter, provides secure access in network for employees and gives the chance to maintain capacity of an Internet channel for priority tasks of organization.
