Neolant: Municipal Geographic Information System (MGIS)

The Municipal Geographic Information System (MGIS) - is intended for the solution of a broad spectrum of tasks, focused on the persons making decisions based on automation of work of all services of the city operating with space data.

A system provides uniform geoinformation space for interaction of regional and municipal services.

Implementation

In the course of creation of MGIS experts of Neolant Group consolidate data of the different geodetic organizations and create the uniform digital map of the territory. This card in scale 1:2000 (and 1:500 in actively built up sections) is a cartographic basis of a system. As a result functioning of all users with the different access level is ensured and it is right in a single system, including:

For citizens:

• Internet service for addresses about city problems with a binding to the card where monitoring of quality of work of city services is also performed;
• the Internet map of constituencies and sections – for determination of border of the section, search of election commission.

For municipal services:

MGIS increases efficiency of municipal services. All necessary data on different spheres of municipal economy are collected, updated, stored and used in a single system. It provides the high level of control of processes of life support in the city and acceptance of effective management decisions, reduces time for preparation of allowing documentation for legal entities and physical persons.

Technical implementation

A system is based on the principle the client-server, on the basis of thin (web browser) clients that the number of the connected users without the mezzanine board allows to increase beyond all bounds.

MGIS can be integrated with any open information systems of the customer. It is possible to work with a system, both on working computers, and on tablet computers, smartphones.
