"KBM" automated an IT infrastructure monitoring system

On July 24, 2015 the Globus-Telecom company announced project completion of process automation of control, monitoring and accounting of a status of IT infrastructure in JSC Konstruktorskoye byuro mashinostroyeniya Scientific and Production Corporation^[1].

Project Progress

The company carried out works on installation, setup and adaptation of the automated complex of control, technical accounting and service of the SKIT hardware and software of own development in information and communication infrastructure of the customer. The complex represents the finished solution for effective management of IT infrastructure of the enterprise.

The software product will allow to provide to the customer continuous and objective control of functioning of all elements of the geographically distributed computer network. The functionality of a complex is configured on timely identification of the emergency situations connected with operation of the equipment and the software, carrying out the retrospective analysis and operational informing a support service on the arising failures and incidents.

Besides, the software product gives to the customer ample opportunities regarding technical accounting of the equipment and the software: communication channels, switches, servers, personal computers, peripheral devices, software applications. For example, interactive process charts help to keep track not only of availability and a status of IT resources, but also arrangement on objects of the enterprise. Updating of information on elements of the computer network is performed in the automatic mode.

Project Results

As a result of project implementation the customer received modern tools on process automation, connected with operation and development of own information and communication infrastructure.
