AR2200

Routers of Huawei company of AR2200 series for the enterprises are the routers of a corporate class founded on the corporate universal platform of routing (VRP) which fully takes advantages of information which is saved up by the company in such areas as data transmission, network of wireless access and basic network. AR2200 integrates in itself functions of routing, switching, service 3G, services of voice transmission and security. Such router uses the multi-core processor CPU and not blocked structure of switching, provides industry-leading high-speed performance and expansion of a system, meeting future requirements of service maintenance. AR2200 proposes the complete solution for corporate networks, increases the speed of multichannel service and protects investments of clients. The AR2200 router represents two models: AR2220 and AR2240.

Dual-mode network with flexible access

AR1200 not only supports the wireless mode WLAN, UMTS, LTE, but also and the wire mode of optical fiber and a copper wire that provides to the consumer flexibility of access methods to network.

The services included in one router

AR2200 integrates in itself routing, switching, services 3G, services of voice transmission and performs security functions.

Open platform of services

AR2200 is connected to the main information system from the third-party producer by means of the open platform of services (OSP) and provides the unified solution for communication of corporate users. The clients, agents representing the third-party producer suppliers and manufacturers, as required, can improve and use AR2200 routers.

Voice communication

The AR2200 router performs different voice functions for information networks of the enterprises, providing flexibility and coupling efficiency.

Secure access to services

During service the AR2200 router guarantees safe work of corporate networks. Besides, it provides the complex mechanism of protection of security, including access control of users, recognition of packets of information and active protection against security violation attempts. Such mechanism protects capital investments of clients.

In process of growth of the enterprise also requirements of corporate users to services of deployment grow. AR2200 provides an USB disk for deployment of devices and implementation of functions of autotune for service of deployment.

The AR2200 router provides the interface payments 24GE for implementation of access of GE with a high density of ports. Such interface payment promotes convenience of net surfing and its maintenance and also protects capital investments of clients.

Services of a voice communication

As the voice gateway for corporate networks AR2200 functions as an area exchange with the IP protocol (IP PBX) or as the SIP gateway.

Application of IP PBX

Office automatic telephone exchange (PBX) which is built in routers supports the main cipher of the enterprise, an interactive system of recognition of voice messages of IVR and the system of a query about the account that strengthens reputation of the enterprise and improves efficiency of corporate communication. AR2200 is located in branch for installation of intellectual automatic connection. If there was a failure in network functioning of WAN, then as spare network for calls the telephone public switched network of PSTN is used. In case of unavailability of the SIP server at the Central office the SIP server which is built in the router performs communication between branches and also between branch and a public telephone network of PSTN. It guarantees reliability of services of a voice communication.

Use of the SIP gateway

R2200 unites services of a voice communication, the fax and IP services Rendering services of voice transmission for corporate users, AR2200 functions as the SIP gateway of branch and transforms telephone signals to VoIP-signals. Interfaces of the channel of outgoing communication of this router are connected to IMS/NGN network for the purpose of obtaining any multimedia data at any time arriving, for example, from phones, mobile phones and computers.

Wireless access 3G in branches

Compliance of the AR2200 router to standards 3G, including CDMA2000 EV-DO, WCDMA and TD-SCDMA, meets the requirements of wireless communication between branches and the central office. Users can apply in work the disk USB 3G to deployment of services 3G on the AR2200 router that allows to use smaller number of slots of payments. Moreover, the highway 3G can be used as addition for wire channel of communication to ensure safety of channels of outgoing communication of xDSL, FE/GE, ISDN and CPOS. Such additional channel improves stability of network functioning and reduces costs for its installation. The NQA function supported by AR2200 allows to reveal link quality of communication 3G, guaranteeing SLA.

VPN in branches

The AR2200 router provides secure access for link establishment between corporate branches and between branches and the central office and also provides to partners access to corporate resources. Such channels as VPN networks under the GRE and IPSEC protocols, are installed between the central office and branches and provide secure access to information and data transmission. AR2200 executes fast deployment of the channel and authentication of branches. Use of such channel allows partners to get access to corporate resources and to use them jointly. Also the AR2200 router provides to users service of authentication and authorization.

As they are the equipment of PE of MPLS network, AR2200 routers are located in branches of the enterprise. Different types of services are subdivided into categories by means of MPLS L3 network VPN. The AR2200 router performs flexible deployment, fast distributing and safe transfer of services VPN and also supports service of the enterprises for networks.

2015: Routers of a line of AR are equipped with the VPN gateway

On July 27, 2015 the Huawei company provided to the Russian users sets: Huawei AR routers with  the modules AR01WSX on which the VPN gateway from S-Terra CSP company is installed.

As a result of cooperation of the companies of Ltd company S-Terra CSP and Huawei in the market sets from routers Huawei of the AR series and the modules AR01WSX with preset VPN- the gateway appeared C-Terra Virtual Gateway.

Users, whose corporate network is built on the equipment of Huawei, had an opportunity to use for protection a VPN product at the information transfer requiring the special delicate circulation, in particular, of personal data. It conforms to requirements of GOST and is certified by FSB of Russia and FSTEC of Russia. This option is recommended to the companies and the organizations using the equipment of the Russian or southeast vendors at creation of the security systems.

Routers of Huawei of the AR series integrate resources of infocommunication technologies using virtualization. These routers have all necessary functionality for connection of geographically distributed offices of business companies and state organizations, allowing to reach economy of both install space, and energy consumption, thereby reducing operating costs.

The modules AR01WSX allow to expand possibilities of the network environment jointly with the software which is specially developed and set on them. In this set for ensuring the certified security the VPN gateway implementing GOST enciphering is installed on the module.

Testing of joint work of Huawei AR routers and the modules AR01WSX with  security gateway C-Terra showed good results, as on performance (to 250 Mbps) and to high-speed performance, and on reliability of the solution.
