The presentation of the project of the innovation technopark of Bionic Hill took place on March 29, 2012 in Kiev. In August of the same year the project of hi-tech of technopark, the first in Ukraine, was included in the national program Technopolice. It was supposed that Bionic Hill will work based on the operating Bionic University IT university. To technopark the territory of 147 hectares near Kiev at which at particular tax regime about 35 thousand people will be able to work was selected.
The cost of creation of Bionic Hill was estimated at 1 billion dollars, the first 760 thousand were selected with administration of Kiev in October, 2013[1].
In the 2014th the project was frozen for an indefinite term after change of the power in the country.
