"Yerevan" began with city an implementation project of a complex of technologies on the SAP HANA platform

On July 30, 2015 the SAP CIS company and retail chain stores "Yerevan" announced City the beginning of implementation of a complex of solutions on the SAP HANA platform.

Project Tasks

The decision on upgrade of IT infrastructure of retail network is made by the management "Yerevan City" due to the need of a first line support and flexibility of business processes. Low technologies contain growth of the enterprise, without helping with increase in the service level of buyers. The company expects tools of SAP in building of customer-oriented strategy of network, gain of profitability of business and creation of a basis for further growth.

SAP implementation in "Yerevan City" will help with solving of tasks:

• expansions of abilities to manage loyalty program;
• control automation by the range of shops, stocks, replenishment and movement of goods;
• decrease in percent of the transactions executed manually;
• increase in efficiency of the analysis of sales and purchase plannings.

With implementing solutions it is going to accelerate preparation of different types of the reporting before the management and regulatory authorities. "Yerevan City" is going to use as much as possible the modern means of business data analysis implemented in industry solution of SAP for Retail for control of key indicators of sales in real time, with a detailing depth up to each buyer.

As a part of a complex of the technologies planned to implementation:

• SAP for Retail,
• SAP CRM Loyalty Management for management of programs of loyalty,
• SAP BI
• SAP F&R.

Partners should create in one year information space for retail chain stores. The majority of SAP solutions will be implemented in the commercial sector of Armenia for the first time. The project will be executed together with NORBIT company.

According to the project plan, implementing solutions of SAP to "Yerevan City" should be completed by August, 2016, in new information systems more than 100 employees "Yerevan City" will work.
