On August 4, 2015 it became known of implementation in Rosvodokanal Group of the platform of the joint communications TrueConf Server.

Project Tasks

The lack of the convenient communication system in the large company tightened time of decision making and required additional costs on development and the presentation of projects. The management of Rosvodokanal Group looked for the solution for quality improvement of communication between divisions of the company, cost reduction on business trips of employees and project development. Use of a system of a video conferencing became an optimal variant.

For testing selected solutions: Microsoft (Skype, Lync), Polycom, Cisco and TrueConf. Comparison took place by criteria:

• communication quality,
• implementation cost
• cost of ownership of a system.

As a result of testing the Russian development on the basis of the server of video conferences – TrueConf Server is selected.

Project Results

"Thanks to cross-platform of solutions of TrueConf, our employees can take part in video conferences on the PC with different operating systems. So, more than 30 people from the jobs and from meeting rooms daily participate in the operational meetings with the management and technical meetings on projects of the working groups. The selected solution provides high-quality service of video conferences, – Mikhail Shirokozhukhov, the director of the department of information technologies of UK Rosvodokanal LLC told. – Thus, the implementing solution TrueConf Server allowed to solve all assigned tasks in full. Now video conferences with a possibility of demonstration of the presentations help us to make quicker decisions and more visually to present projects".
