Powercom MACAN is a budget line of floor online UPSes.

2019: MRT-1000SE/MRT-2000SE/MRT-3000SE

On July 2, 2019 the Powercom company announced emergence of the POWERCOM MACAN UPS model with 8 sockets. MRT-1000SE/MRT-2000SE/MRT-3000SE will become the excellent solution for protection of power supply of servers, network, computing, telecommunication, medical and other responsible equipment.

Uninterruptible power supply units of MRT SE also, as well as other models of the MACAN family, are executed on technology online or double conversion that provides a net sinusoid at the exit and the maximum protection of the connected equipment against all possible problems in the power supply network. Devices are provided in three capacities (1000 BA, 2000 BA, 3000 BA) and are called respectively: MRT-1000SE/MRT-2000SE/MRT-3000SE.

Features of model is the maximum electrical power factor PF=1 and the lowered noise level due to installation of 6 high-speed fans of cooling. Additional benefit is also ease in service thanks to function of "hot" replacement of the rechargeable battery. And for convenience of monitoring and the UPS settings are equipped with the rotary multifunction LCD display and also USB and RS-232 ports and the internal slot for the SNMP adapter necessary for the organization of remote control the device and monitoring of its status using special software.

2017: Powercom Macan Comfort and MRT

Macan Comfort applies to become the most miniature onlineik in the market, it is one and a half times less than the predecessor. Models are executed in the Tower body, equipped with the modern informative screen and that is important, have the smart cooling system. Six high-speed operation modes of the fan will help to avoid excessive noise during the work.

Macan RT or in abbreviated form MRT are executed in the universal body with a possibility of rack-mounting or on a floor. Are equipped with the big rotary screen, all necessary communication ports and have advanced functionality as that connection of add-on battery packs, a connectivity of the SNMP card for the organization of monitoring, etc. Models will be issued in capacities 1000BA, 2000BA and 3000BA.

2015: Powercom MAS-1000, MAS-3000

On August 4, 2015 the Powercom company announced a budget line of floor UPSes with high power factor and a large number of output connectors (from 4 to 8 IEC320 C13 sockets).

Powercom UPSes  of the MACAN series  are intended for protection of computers, workstations, servers and also computer clusters, network switches and other computing and telecommunication equipment requiring high quality of power supply.

UPS Powercom MAS-1000, MAS-3000, 2015

The lineup  of MACAN  represents MAS-1000 devices for connection of the separate equipment with power from 1000 VA (for example, small servers) and more powerful UPSes (MAS-2000 and MAS-3000) protecting from failures in network averages and large computer or telecommunication systems entirely.

MACAN "online" or "double conversion" technology used in a line provides the most effective protection for file servers and more complex working computing stations.

Structures of Powercom of the MACAN series show high reliability in a price segment because they are constructed on the basis of a bonus line of the Vanguard online UPS. Developers managed to achieve significant reduction of price due to failure from very limited number of the functions which do not have an impact on the most important characteristics of devices.

In the Powercom MACAN UPS there is no possibility of hot swap of batteries, segmentations of loading, there is no function of emergency shutdown (EPO). At the same time all main advantages of the UPS of the premium level are saved:
