ECCO transferred IT infrastructure of logistics and trade divisions to outsourcing

On August 4, 2015 the Optima group announced end of the pilot period of support of IT infrastructure of shops and warehouses of ECCO company in Russia and transition to the mode of the main work.

Project Progress

Within the project the structural division of Group – Optima Services company is engaged in execution of works.

The agreement provides rendering services of support of IT infrastructure of the Russian retail network and the warehouses ECCO with rendering services:

  • technical support services,
  • permission of incidents,
  • movement, installation and reinstallation of software and PC,
  • administration and preventive maintenance of workstations and office equipment,
  • equipment procurement process control,
  • warranty and extra warranty service in the service center.

Optima Services undertook control function by an IT equipment warehouse.

Within the project shops, warehouses, the Moscow and regional offices, in the future helpdesk services and support of Axapta for Retail in Moscow and regions are transferred to support of Optima Services.

Tasks of Optima Services include development of ITSM processes so that they helped effective solution of business challenges of EKKO-ROS LLC with Russia.

"We are faced by a task to lower costs for service of IT infrastructure and at the same time quality improvement of the rendered services, - Evgeny Shlyapin, the director of the department of IT of EKKO-ROS LLC said. – The EKKO-ROS company had rich experience of work with outsourcing already earlier. For the last three-four years outsourcing market in Russia became more mature, structured: service quality increased, the cost of services fell. Therefore at the current stage we as the retail company first of all expect capability from the contractor rendering this type of services to build in outsourcing services business processes of the customer, IT outsourcing should help implementation as operating activities of the customer, and to promote the solution of its business challenges. We expect up-to-date information about a status of 24/7 addresses and at the same time the low cost of interaction due to integration into our ServiceDesk system and contact center. Our very high requirements are supported with tough penalties for violations of SLA. The Optima Services company suited us by all above-stated parameters. In return we positively estimate perspectives of continuation of cooperation".

Project term – 2 years with a possibility of further prolongation.

The parties complete the first stage of the project within which audit of IT infrastructure, formation of regulations, training is booked. Daily work is conducted.
