GAO "Latvian Railroad" implemented the automation equipment of input of paper documents in ERP

On August 5, 2015 the Aflex Distribution company announced automation of process of input of paper documents of GAO "Latvian Railroad" in the SAP ERP system.

Project Tasks

GAO "Latvian Railroad (LDz)" was faced by a problem of reduction of time and labor costs on processing of the entering accounts. It was required to automate transfer process them in an electronic form with the subsequent extraction of necessary information in SAP taking into account business rules of the company.

Analyzing the market of products for automation of the listed processes, in the company stopped on the solution Kofax for scanning, recognition, check and entering of the taken data into ERP. Main selection terms:

• high scalability,
• good compatibility with legacy applications and operating systems,
• high level of security and reliability,
• the ready connector to SAP
• the convenient administration console, for centralized operation by functionality, settings and deployment.

As a result of tender by the contractor of the project there was an Aflex Distribution company.

Project Progress

During the project specialists of Aflex Distribution delivered the solution Kofax, set, configured and brought into operation. After that it is provided complex user training and administrators, the agreement of technical support of the solution is issued.

Project Results

In a project deliverable all requests of the customer regarding automation of processing of finance documents are satisfied.

Andrey Kotov, the manager of projects of development of SAP of the Latvian railroad, noted: "We were faced by a problem of acceleration of processing of the logging-in accounts and data transmission of SAP.
