MTS was started by free Wi-Fi at the Tolmachevo airport

2016

Announced MTS in December, 2016 start of the first public network Wi-fi with identification of users in the territory of the international terminal of the Tolmachevo airport. Set to MTS in the sector of B (the international airlines) of the terminal handler several access points which are connected to high-speed optical links and provide Internet access at the same time to all visitors and employees of the international terminal of the airport.

Free Wi-Fi is available in arrival halls and a departure and other places of waiting. Authorization of users happens in public network Wi-fi MTS according to all requirements of the legislation of the Russian Federation: the user enters mobile phone number into a special field then receives the Sms with the password which is used for an input in network.

2015

On August 11, 2015 the MTS company announced a victory in the tender for providing services for communication of infrastructure of Tolmachevo Airport. The amount of the signed contract was more than 5 million rub^[1].

Project Tasks

During tendering process service quality, covering geography, the general price policy of operators were compared. MTS offered the most attractive cost of services at the high level of service, individual approach and a set of additional services, including high-speed data transmission.

Tolmachevo Airport, 2013

The MTS company offered for Tolmachevo Airport optimal rates for mobile communication within which:

• free communication in corporate network,
• business processes of the company are considered
• internal segmentations of the company.

Project Results

The corporate network in Tolmachevo will be serviced round the clock by the staff of MTS ready to answer any questions arising at users. Also, taking into account geographical remoteness of Tolmachevo Airport from Novosibirsk, MTS will provide a courier delivery of all necessary equipment and documents.
