Gazprom will pay 124 million rubles for support of software and technology of Oracle

In August, 2015 Gazprom inform published request for proposals^[1] on rendering services in maintenance of the equipment and to maintenance of software of Oracle. The maximum price which the company is ready to pay for them is 124.6 million rubles, and dates of termination of rendering services are designated December, 2015.

Within the contract Gazprom inform transfers to support the equipment and software installed on the platform of the Central Operations and Dispatch Department (CODD)of Gazprom managing the unified gas supply system of Russia and also in the main DPC of Gazprom in Moscow on Nametkin St. and also in the reserve DPC located in the Moscow region.

Among the used equipment of Oracle – servers, including Sun SPARC Enterprise, Sun Enterprise and Sun Fire, workstations, backup servers, etc. The software includes Oracle DBMS, software of analytical servers, software for a clustering and increase in availability to Oracle Database, software of application servers, etc. The software list and the equipment in total includes more than 140 names.

Earlier, in December, 2014, Gazprom inform also carried out request for proposals^[2] on rendering services in support of the equipment and software of Oracle. Then initial contract amount was 142 million rubles, and the list of the equipment and software transferred to support made about 250 names. The timeline for delivery of services was designated June, 2015.Gazprom avtomatizatsiya became the only participant and the winner of competition then.
