VSMPO-AVISMA started the first stage of a production scheduling system

On August 17, 2015 it became known of the beginning of an implementation project of schedule system in PJSC VSMPO-AVISMA Corporation with assistance of LOGIS company.

The corporation is going to increase transparency of process of execution of orders and to improve production efficiency.

Project Progress

On October 13, 2016 the VSMPO-AVISMA Corporation and LOGIS company announced start in operation of the first stage of a production scheduling system on the LOGIS Production Planning platform.

At the beginning of 2015 the management of VSMPO-AVISMA Corporation made the decision on the beginning of implementation of the first stage of the Production scheduling system. A main objective of this initiative is improvement of process of accomplishment of orders and improvement of the related key performance indicators.

Within the first stage problems of synchronization of flows of materials, ensuring rhythm of production are solved, since smelting of titanic ingots and finishing with shipment of finished goods on a warehouse.

The LOGIS Production Planner software product formed a basis for schedule system.

Project implementation allowed specialists to look VSMPO-AVISMA at planning process of production from the new party. We got acquainted on the example of the leading metallurgical enterprises, clients of LOGIS, with the advanced approaches to production management and into practice began to put some of them in our company. We managed to lay the strong foundation for schedule system and to create task force. It will become a basis for continuous improvements in corporation. It should be noted that development of schedule system did not stop with project finish. Despite high-quality support of LOGIS, for the objective reasons we managed to execute not everything from our party during the project. Thus, now we continue to work on quality improvement of normative and technology information, we provide training of end users, we finish account policy.
