The city administration Lobnya implemented EDMS

On August 19, 2015 the CORUS Consulting company announced project completion on system implementation of electronic document management on Alfresco Open Source platform in city administration Lobnya of the Moscow region.

Project Tasks

The city administration Lobnya used an electronic document management system, however, solution performance and efficiency of data processing ceased to satisfy the management of administration.

It was accepted made the decision on implementation of the EDMS optimized to needs of public authorities, developed on the platform with the open code.

Main objective of the project - consolidation of committees of administration in a common information space, increase in efficiency of the administrative machine by means of fast and high-quality interaction of different structural units.

After requirement analysis of the customer specialists of the contractor proposed city administration the solution on workflow automation for municipal entities "EDOS-municipality" developed by Neologika company on Alfresco Open Source platform.

Project Progress

The project was executed in time. Specialists of system integrator implemented a system automating a complex of processes on work with office for all departments of administration of Lobnya and integrating the solution with the system of interdepartmental electronic document management (MEDO). Within the project 50 jobs are automated.

Project Results

Rodion Alexandrov, the head of IT service of city administration Lobnya, noted: "For upgrade of processes of document flow in administration we selected the industrial solution – the system on the platform with the open code Alfresco allowing to connect new divisions, increasing quality of their work. We can tell with confidence that the solution and implementation of its implementation met all our requirements, we achieved effective objectives - in a project deliverable departments of administration were united in a common information space at the expense of what the speed and quality of interaction of employees increased, the efficiency of all administrative machine increased".
