On August 31, 2015 the AXELOT company integrator announced implementation in division of storage of Global Foods company of the automation equipment on the platform "to 1C Logistics: Management of a warehouse".
Project Tasks
The management of Global Foods made the decision to automate a warehouse of the company. The choice stopped on the software product "1C Logistics: Management of a warehouse".
In the warehouse Global Foods, 2013
The AXELOT company became the contractor of an implementation project.
The main objectives set for the company:
- quality improvement of work with weight goods
- increase in overall performance of work of a warehouse.
Project Progress
During the project specialists of the contractor optimized work with weight goods, including, developed the scheme of integration of specialized robotic scales with WMS. Control of the marked goods and operation on marking also underwent the automation impact.
In addition:
- work with weight goods is organized, the strategy of selection for different sections of a warehouse are diversified.
- processes of control of the marked goods are automated:
- in a selection zone the necessary quantity of a remaining balance of goods is always maintained now.
- "1C logistics: Management of a warehouse" it is integrated since "1C: Manufacturing Enterprise Management",
- 2 stationary and 20 mobile jobs are automated,
- information space of a warehouse switches on two "robots" involved on weighing and marking.
- the functionality of online control of a remaining balance of goods and management of expiration dates is implemented,
- an opportunity to trace errors in transactions and the reasons of their emergence is organized.
- inventory is executed in real time.
Project Results
As a result of streamlining of workflows the overall performance of a warehouse increased by 10%. The quantity of errors in transactions decreased by 20%, losses from the clients of overdue goods who are mistakenly shipped to the address decreased.
