Samsung SRN-1673SP IP video recorders

The range of network devices of a video of the brand of Samsung was filled up in the fall of 2015 by the 16-channel SRN-1673SP models which are capable to record megapixel video from cameras with the resolution of 4K to the built-in hard drives with an amount of memory up to 16 TB. New IP video recorders are supplied with PoE/PoE + the switch for a power supply of IP cameras which total power consumption does not exceed 200 W. Besides, these video recorders have the HDMI and VGA interfaces for image output on different monitors, 8 inputs and 4 exits of alarm for connection of security devices and 2 gigabit Ethernets of port for connection to network.

The 16-terabyte archive SRN-1673SP is created by 4 removable SATA HDD. Thanks to the thought-over construction of the body, access to the hard drives IP of the video recorder is provided from its front panel that is rather convenient. For building of disk space of innovation provide replacement of the available HDD by more capacious and/or connection of external data warehouses (DAS) via the e-SATA interface. For rational use of the place in IP archive video recorders support record of video according to the schedule, on an event and other parameters, and during the work with archive offer search in video analytics metadata.

High performance of 16-channel devices of a video is provided by a powerful hardware complex and the Linux operating system. Using SRN-1673SP, it is possible to create video surveillance systems by the Plug & Play method without difficult procedures of setup of the equipment as IP video recorders have the simple graphic user interface and allow to perform local tuning and control of cameras by means of the joystick or a mouse. It should be noted that the Samsung IP cameras connected to them are detected automatically and are configured via the interface of the video recorder without connection of the PC using the Assistant to Setup function.

Important advantage of SRN-1673SP is full support of IP cameras of video surveillance with the resolution up to 8 MR (standard 4K) thanks to what this 16-channel NVR are capable to write the image of very high quality. At the same time IP video recorders use H.264 and M-JPEG video codecs and record video with the bitrate of 80 Mbps, i.e. their performance is enough to perform Full HD record in real time on all channels at the same time. It is important that these IP video recorders are expected work not only with the Samsung IP cameras, but also with ONVIF - the compatible IP equipment of other producers, and allow to create full-function video surveillance systems within the limited budget.

For interaction with different devices of SRN-1673SP IP video systems it is supplied a broad set of external interfaces. So, in addition to 16 channels for IP cameras, the video recorder has 2 gigabit Ethernet-ports for broadcast of video per high-speed networks and USB ports for connection, for example, of the control panel. IP video recorders allow to bring the image from IP cameras to the monitor of the operator via the interface HDMI or VGA, and remote watching video is possible via interfaces of corporate software of SSM or ONVIF - compatible software products of third-party developers. Access to SRN-1673SP can be got also through mobile application of iPOLiS mobile viewer for smartphones and tablets with Android and IOS OS.

The PoE/PoE switch which is built in SRN-1673SP + has ports for all 16 channels and gives power supply on the connected IP cameras including with the increased consumption power, such as high-speed rotary cameras and models for outside video filming. It should be noted that IP video recorders provide the general budget of power of a PoE-power supply of 200 W and also perform monitoring of energy consumption on each of 16 channels. In other words, the new IP video recorder implements all advantages of PoE-technology and allows to expand an IP video surveillance system without power off at any moment.
